Taking apart bikes is a great way to learn the basics of how the bike works, how to use special tools, and get your hands dirty while having some fun!  Our commitment to sustainability starts with keeping bikes out of the landfill by upcycling road-worth bikes, and recycling bikes and bike parts that are no longer needed.  This will be a recurring Tuesday night event, as we continue to work through our large inventory of bikes.  

Anyone interested in joining is more than welcome to assist us in dismantling bikes that we have deemed unfit for repair, unsafe to ride, or poor quality or condition.  We will be salvaging any reusable parts, and recycling the rest with some help from our friends at KJ Haul Away Junk Removal.   If you’ve thought about volunteering, but weren’t sure how to get involved, this is a great way to get plugged into the CRBH shop and meet members of our team.
